As much as we love living in the city, it certainly is important to take a break from the hustle and bustle of life here and head to the country.
So when we decided to go skiing for a few days, we thought we would stay on a farm (just a short drive from the slopes)...with a trampoline, other kiddos, plenty of space to run and play, and LOTS of animals!
Cats, chickens, goats, horses and cows to be exact.
Not only did the kids have fun playing on the farm...but they also enjoyed working!
We had never had "fresh, right out of the cow" milk before, but it certainly was delicious!
Our few days away were so much fun, that we even made a book of our time there...complete with drawings and stories from each kiddo describing their favorite part of the trip.

That sounds like a lot of fun. How did you find the farm? I saw an article recently about farm vacations in Austria, but I can't remember where I saw it. I don't know whether Brian would like it, but I think it sounds like a good idea.
Wow!!! That looks like a good time. Beautiful pictures of the mountains. Levi looks like a force to be reckoned with:). And, I can't believe how old Luke looks in those pictures!! They are growing up too fast. Looks like you had perfect ski weather and the slopes were empty!! Did you have the place to yourselves?? How did you manage that, and last question: Where are the ski pictures of Stacey?? I'm envious and would have loved to have been there with you. Maybe when the boys are old enough we will plan for that - a good goal!! Love you all!!
