Mrs. Field's Cookie Recipe...

Some of you asked for the oatmeal chocolate chip pecan cookies (also called Mrs. Field's cookies) I made yesterday...so here you go!
Enjoy :)

1 cup butter (softened)
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups of flour
2 1/2 cups oatmeal (ground in the food processor)
1/2 cup pecans (also ground in the food processor)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 package of chocolate chips

Bake at 350 for 7-9 minutes
This recipe is from my friend Sharbelle.

Hi Stacey, Made these cookies yesterday to bring to school, for a visiting short-term mission team. The cookies met with rave reviews! Thanks for posting the recipe! I find it interesting that an American recipe posted on a blog in Austria, was read and baked in Japan for a group of short-termers from South Africa! (also tasted by an Indian, Canadian and Japanese friend)
Now I just need to learn to say - delicious in all those languages! "Oishii!"= delicious in Japanese.
