We watched history tonight...
took time to pray for the United States and it's new leaders...
sang the National Anthem, those of us who knew all the words...
and ate a Patriotic salad and chocolate chip cookies...yep, you get a little more sentimental about events like these when you live overseas...

The photo of the kids pledging is precious. We watched the inauguration too -- I wish I would have thought about making chocolate chip cookies for the occasion. :)
