So, earlier in the week I told you about how we went to Laxenburg on Mother's Day...and now it is one of our family's favorite places! It was the spring and summer residence of the Habsburgs and it was beautiful! There were gardens, parks, climbing trees, a castle with a moat, a lake where you could rent electric boats, and a cafe where you could get anything from Schnitzel to ice cream! Joanna Foley came with us (she lives in Budapest) and we met our friends, Thomas and Gianna (Alice and Christopher's parents).
