Faschingsfest!
Today Abby was still the only one well enough to go to school. Fortunately, the boys are on the mend and will be able to go back to school just in time for Faschingsfest tomorrow. From my limited understanding, it is basically a time of carnival, when kids dress up and have fun parties in school. It is similar to Mardi Gras and a preparing to "let loose" before lent.

MeMoo, Erin, Conner & I'll be going to the Fiesta Tropicale Parade Sat eve (a Mardi Gras weekend in Hollywood). Maybe we'll catch some beads! I haven't been for about 45 years.
